Birthday Surprise

Birthdays sure are a special day - if not for self then definetly for people around who adore, love you for being a part of their life.

Our birthdays (mine and husband's) are in the months of May and June. Summer Vacation time! We never ever got to celebrate our birthdays with friends in School or College. Both being the extreme shy types - distributing chocolates in school, standing in front of the whole class while your friends and class teacher sing the birthday song for you, going to each and every class with a close pal and giving chocolates to the teachers - a big NO NO!!
To sum it up - we both dont like celebrating birthday outside family, not that we hate it but just that we are not comfortable.

Now this is what happened at work today.

My SIL surprised me with a cake and bunch of goodies - not at home but at work. We are a small work force of around 70-80. And it was quite a thing to get wished by almost everyone in the company!

The Master Plan
--------------------
SIL takes the number of our HR Manager (a very good friend of mine) on the pretext that she needs some contact info of my office.

She talks to HR and sets up a time to meet her.

Buys a lovely black forest cake, chocolates, candles and drops it over at HR's place.

HR gets the cake and all the goodies.

HR calls the entire girl gang of our company on the pretext of some meeting.

Everyone starts wishing me (people whom I dont generally speak to)!!

I am shocked/surprised and quite embarrassed! (I am generally used to getting wishes by Family and close friends - not every Tom Dick and Harry).

They call me in a conf room.

I see a cake with magic candles. They start singing the birthday song!

All girls go for a second/third serving - Loved the cake!

I was in such a state of shock that I had no words - not even the usual "Thank You" for the wishes!

Well this birthday was the one that I am not going to forget - be it for the shock or for the surprise!

Sahib Singh Sultan, Bangalore

If you want to be treated nothing less than a king/queen in a restaurant - this is the place. Located on the 1st floor of 'The Forum' mall (Hosur Road), this place doesnt scream for attention at all from outside. In the days of yore (around 2 years back) in Bangalore we just used to walk past this place never even with an intention to dine until one day things changed. Changed so much that we savoured the place to our heart's content and took an oath to check out some different place but not this one! But time and again we end up here with our guests of honor who drop by at our place to say hello from far off places!

Note: I dont claim to be a food critic or anything similar but these are my views of the restaurant.

Sahib Singh Sultan belongs to the BJN group of hotels.

The first tyrst with the place was way back in 2006 when we had just returned from the US. It was a surprise dinner for me arranged by my husband. Enjoyed to our heart's content.

Reservation - The place demands prior reservation if you dont want to get disappointed. The place (S S S) is extremely busy over the weekends especially for dinners. So I suggest you to book your table well before you arrive. One can check out the restaurant numbers, address and the like here -

http://www.asklaila.com/listing/Bangalore/Koramangala/Sahib+Sindh+Sultan/Y4K3bB0c/

Ambience - The ambience is something you wouldnt be disappointed with. The murals remind one of the British era. The seating is comfortable (just that the chairs are too heavy to move!). The coach inside the place is awesome. If you are calling to make a reservation, do ask for seating inside the coach. Sitting in the coach gives a feeling of sitting in the palace-on-wheels-sort-of-train!

Food - This is the criteria for many of us to check out any restaurant in the first place. The menu has remained more or less the same with us! The only difference I saw in the menu was that the menu card became a little more elaborate and at the same time bigger and heavier!

The place serves complimentary starters. It is usually the bread sticks with 3 types of dipping sauce. I love the one with the cheese. We usually finish the whole thing off before the waiter (who by the way dresses up as a TT) comes to take our order.
We make a conscious decision to skip soups.
Our menu -
Paneer Tikka - must try for all paneer lovers. Though the taste has changed over the years but still remains our favourite. It is always tempting to savour the big chunks of paneer without actually thinking of calories.
Corn Methi Pulao - Pulao with generous doses of corn and methi. A very good combination. Can be eaten just like that without any accompaniments.
Malai Kofta/Hariyali Kofta/Paneer Curry - This varies depending on our mood for the day. Tastes Ok compared to the rice.
Mutton Biryani - this dish is to die for. Yummy!! No Comments.
Fish Tikka - to die for again. Fish at its best. No more Comments.
Litchi Ki Tehari - one must try this one. A dessert with Lithchi!

The cost for 2 people comes to around 500 to 600. We usually dont go for the non - vegetarian delights as one of us is a strict vegetarian!

Wrap-Up - The bill is promptly handled. I love the sweet saunf and the chatpati goli (mouth freshners) which are decked on the left hand corner of the main hall (beside the door). A must check out!

Do check the place out atleast once. But if you dont like it then please dont curse me!

Innovative Film City, Bangalore

Last Friday we took a day off and went to Innovative Film City, Off Mysore Road. It is roughly 9 kms from Wonderla, Bangalore but very easy to miss. The directions to the place are quite misleading infact not leading at all!

We saw the first sign board when we were close to Wonderla - it said 9 Kms to Innovative Film City. That was a pleasant surprise as we didnt expect any sign boards at all! Thinking we were on the right track, hubby set his tripmeter to 9 Kms. Crossed 9 Kms but there was no sign of any board. We had crossed a small town called Bidadi. You know when you are in Bidadi when - you can see Railway tracks going parallel to the road, chaotic traffic everywhere and a very conspicuous foot over bridge. Assuming that we officially missed the s0-called-place, we relied on the best maps available - the Human Map! Asked a couple of people - they directed us in the opposite direction towards Bangalore.
Made a U turn and looked for sign boards again. Made a U to take a left on the other side of the road. The visible landmark would be the huge billboards. One would find quite a lot of signboards from there on.

So we finally reached the place at 10. Could just see a couple of cars around. The place is still under constuction where a major chunk of work is getting done. Huge cranes, workers, noise are the first thing I noticed. The place is well maintained - the entrance is pretty, with Roman figures adorning the high walls. The main gate is straight from a French Mansion (atleast that is what I thought).

The place has been opened just 2 months back and it would take another 1-2 years for it to become 100% complete.
I am listing some of the attractions and eateries which were open around the time we went. I wouldnt spoil the fun by minutely describing them!

Attractions/Eateries (which are open):

Cafe Coffee Day - very expensive and mediocre quality. One ordinary milk shake costed us around 40 rupees.

Ripley's Believe it or Not - for all the AXN's Ripley's Believe it or not fans. A must see I must say. We ended up spendly a little more than an hour there. A seperate ticket for the entry - around 50 rupees if I remember it well.

Louis Tussad Wax Museum - not great but just okay! Ticket is priced at around 50. The wax idols are in no match with what we find in the original Madam Tussad's Wax Museum or even the real ones. Keep guessing - thats what I would say. Good fun though.

Go Karting - a must try for all the driving and non-driving freaks! Ticket is priced at 150 rupees for laps. Was good fun competing with my own folks.

Mirror Maze - loads of fun. Ticket is priced at 50 rupees. I ended up spending a solid half hour inside the maze just to get out of it!

Food Court - choices are limited. Prices are good enough. Wouldnt call it a great eatery! No match to the food courts that are there in the malls.

Dinosaur Land - for kids. Ticket is priced at 50 rupees. The place is very humid with no visible ventilation. Dinosaurs of all types moving their tail/head/forearms and what not. Good fun if kids are around.

***Mini Golf - didnt check this one out. I found it too unadventurous and boring from a distance.
***Aqua Kingdom - didnt check this one out too. They had an artificial beach just like the one in Wonderla, Bangalore. We didnt dare to enjoy the beach in the hot and sultry day! So skipped that. Ticket is priced at 150 rupees.

Attractions/Eateries (which are yet to open):
Cartoon City
Snow Park
Miniature City
Haunted Mansion
Themed Restaurants
Guiness

Overall good fun if there are a lot of people in the group.
Overall Rating - ** (out of 5)

Tooth Extraction

Nothing can be so painful than a tooth getting extracted- a part of you ever since you remember! Yes???
NOOOO!
It is not that bad after all.
Listen to my story -

The D -day of my pre-molar tooth had come. It had to be removed.
The dentist made me sit on the throne (the dental chair). Gave me a local anesthesia - a shot one on the gums above the premolar and one shot under it. The second one was a little painful. Though the pain was not felt at all after a couple of seconds. One side of my eye started feeling a little numb once the affect of the shot was taking over.
I relaxed on the throne for the next 10 minutes or so as the dentist got busy talking to my husband. He came, he saw and pulled. It was all over even before I realized.
My tooth was out. He put a huge cotton in my mouth.
I walked back home. Took out the cotton, had a cup of ice-cream, drank some cold water and I was all set for the day. Had curd rice for dinner and slept early.
The next day, I brushed very carefully. Had a cup of milk. Had a light and soft breakfast. And that was it.

Simple, isnt it? To top it all I have another extraction coming up sometime soon!

Powerful Women in My Life

The two most powerful women in my life got to be my Mother and my Mother-in-law. I am totally awe of both of them. The way they have influenced my life is something which I cannot just overlook.

Mother

  • A home-maker for the last 26 years.
  • Comes from a very simple and humble family of 7 (her mom, dad and 5 siblings!).
  • Sacrificed her aspirations so the younger ones get to climb the ladder
  • She gave up her studies and started working as an accoutant to help the family.
  • Started supporting her family when she was 16.
  • Got married when she was 23, when in those days girls were born just to be married at 16 something.
  • Gave up her job when she tied the knot.

Mom is and has always been our strength.

Blessed are we to have a mother like her. A woman who means so much to me. A woman so dear to me. A woman who is everthing to me.

Mother-in-law
  • A working woman for the last 15 years.
  • Comes from a very simple and educated family of doctors, teachers, engineers.
  • Sacrificed her dreams so her kids get the best in life.
  • She gave up her studies and got married when she was all of 18.
  • Was left alone when she was all of 28 with two school going boys.
  • Finished her post graduate degree and took up a job to raise her kids.

Blessed am I to have a mummy like her. A woman who means a lot to me. A woman who is such an inspiration to me. A woman who gives me strength when I am low.

Love you both for being a part of my life!

Gloomy Monday

Why are mondays so depressing?
Come mondays and I start feeling the blues. Feel like quitting work and going back to the 'stay-at-home' days.
Is it the same for everyone?

Fridays are so much fun when there is not a great deal of work. You happily embrace the coming weekend with loads and loads of plans. Weekends come and go - without you realizing that it is gone to come back again after a long 5 days.
I have already started waiting for the coming weekend which is going to be a long one (monday being a holiday for us!).
Hope this week goes by without too much fuss at work.

Happy Working

Tring Tring

Have we ever thought how important phones have become in our lives? It is one simple call that can make or break a relationship, do some good or bad to you, declare failure or success, blurt out some very good and some very bad news and many more.

The phone has become such an inseperable part of our life. A day without the cell phone seems so very IMPOSSIBLE!

Some unforgettable calls that I received over the years (in no particular order) -
  • My marriage date was fixed over a phone! Well, it was atleast consented by both of us (my better half (B) and myself) over the phone!
  • My sister's Intermediate results were out on her cell phone.
  • Long chats and talks over the phone when B and I were away which really got us together, after a 3-day stint ( he came, he saw, he married)!
  • Inteview call from the HR of the company for which I am currently working.
  • B calling me up to set up a plan for the evening - dinner, followed by a movie (the second part after the dinner - totally unexpected)!
  • Call from my boss asking me to come to office over the weekend!
  • Call from my boss telling me that one of our team members is in the ICU.
  • Call from B letting me know that he might have to go to the US for a short stint.
  • Recipe exchange over the phone between my mom and me; between my MIL and me.
  • Calls which are not intended for you - wrong numbers (really irritating)!
  • Home Loan calls - pestering you to take one!
  • Credit Card calls - Offering to give you one!
  • Invitation for a party/marriage/get-together!
  • Call from my dad saying one of cousins is no more.
  • Call from my mom saying one of dad's sisters is no more.
  • Call from my aunt saying the marriage of her son has been fixed after an eternal wait!

Well I cant think of any more for now.

Getting a call now!

Prince and Princess

Long long time ago, there was a boy (a prince) and girl (a princess) ruling a city somewhere in the south east part of India. They went to the same school, same college, had some common relatives but had never met! Destiny brought them together one fine day.

What followed was a series of eventful events (not sure whether this is a right usage, but anyways sounds exactly what I wanted it to). The girl was shown the photo of the boy and the boy was shown the photo of the girl. Thanks to the not-so-photogenic faces, they instantly disliked each other. But because of parental interference (and thank God for that!), decided to meet and sort it out.

The girl was in her college almost done with her studies, decided to take a plunge into the big world of management. CAT - the mother of all MBA exams was in her hit list. The boy had finished his Bachelors in the city which he ruled, pursued higher studies, landed in a well paid job and was now ready for matrimony!

Thursday
The D day when the boy and the girl were supposed had come. The girl called up some of her close friends and asked them to disturb her around the time when the boy is around. Came the boy with his mother. The girl and her sister took some quick peeps through one of the windows. The sister labeled his as a school boy. After the intial introduction, there was no stopping them! They liked each other instantly and talked non stop. Her parents and his mom had to intervene to stop their never ending conversation!
After the boy left, the girl was asked her opinion - No Answer.
Boy was asked his opinion - No Answer.

Friday
An early morning call broke the peaceful atmosphere at home. The boy had given his anwser in an affirmative. The girl made her parents day with a single nod. Girl's mom and dad went to the boy's home to settle a marriage date. Started pouring heavily outside. Came another call, now this time breaking the sounds of the rain falling on the roof. The boy was at the other end asking the girl if it was OK with her to marry him before he leaves to the US (which was in a week!). The girl gave away to the orator skills of the boy. Her parents came back home to burst the news to the girl that the D day was going to be MONDAY.
One phone on each hand, everybody at her home started making calls, calling relatives, friends to be part of the occassion. After quite a few yells and cries, everybody digested the fact that the girl was really getting married in a couple of days.

SATURDAY
Shopping day. Loads of shopping . Loads of calls. Loads of fun. Loads of work.

SUNDAY
All the guests started pouring in one by one. Poor souls couldnt manage to get reservation in the train, so came standing, some settling with already filled up berths, some tired. But everybody who mattered to the girl came in. Life couldnt have been much faster. Days were just rolling. In another day the girl would leave her parents home forever for the boy whom she had met just a few days back.

MONDAY
The boy and the girl tied the holy knot to be with each other for the rest of their lives.
Sad parents of the girl couldnt imagine that their little princess really got married. And for the girl, it was a lot of fun going through the whole process.
Here comes the big blow. The boy is leaving on a WEDNESDAY, back to the US.

TUESDAY
The girl and boy spent some time together amidst a bunch of relatives with prying eyes on this day. They got to know each other a little bit more than before.

WEDNESDAY
Boy, girl, now prince and princess and his mother (their mother now) flew to the place from where he was to take off. Bid farewell.

Girl got her visa in a few days. Joined him in the US within a month. And they lived happily ever after.

Couldnt have been a better fairy tale than this one.

Eden Park, Bangalore

My Mr. B gets really excited when somebody raves about a place. Once it gets onto his head, he has got to check it out. Now similar thing happened with this place called 'Eden Park'. It has a bar and restaurant attached.
21/1,Cunningham Road,Behind Indian Express, Cunningham Road, Bangalore, 560052, India+91 80 22861100

The address sounds very simple, but we literally had to spend around an hour or so to get to Cunningham road and then another half hour or so to figure out where exactly the place was. If you are really familiar with the roads of Bangalore then shouldnt be a problem at all (I guess!).

Keeping in mind the unpredictable Bangalore traffic, we started at around 11:30 am from home. We stay in BTM layout so the best way we could figure out from our-very-handy eicher map was to go to Cubbon Road first.
Hosur Road -> St. Marks Road -> Keep going straight until you get MG road which is perpendicular to Marks Road -> Keep going straight and make a left at Cubbon Road -> The road eventually becomes Raj Bhavan Road .

**Raj Bhavan Road was choked. We were stuck there for around 15-30 minutes.

From here one needs to figure out how to reach Cunningham Road because most of the roads are one-ways. So we went something like this.

Raj Bhavan Road -> Made a right at Palace Raod -> Made a right at Cunningham Road. Kept going straight until we couldnt go straight anymore on this road. SO made a right and then left into one of those residential areas and parked our car. Walked to Cunningham road which was one way. Lot of Reliance outlets on this road.

The restaurant is very inconspicous. It stands behind the Indian Express building at the end of the road. The best bet is to ask for Indian Express building rather than the restaurant one you get there.

So finally we walked our way (literally) to the restaurant. Went straight to the Non A/C section where they serve only meals ( Thats what I thought!). Because we were not give any menu so we went ahead and ordered for two vegetarian meals.

Banana leaves were already set on the table. Cleaned the leaf with some water and wiped the excess with some tissues (always advisable). There were some dried/fried chillies (andhra style) but I found them stale. Asked Mr. B not to have any of those which I guess disappointed him becuase he loves them.

Came the rice, followed by dal, one dry curry (which was spicy), one gravy, papad, chutney. Then came the sambhar (which I thought was yummy!), rasam (spicy again with lot of oil), curd and butter milk.

Service was good but I would say not great because we had to literally raise our hands like little kids do in school to get the attention of the servers. No complaints but. Each mean costs around 75 rupees.

Overall good authentic Andhra Food. Wouldnt call it a must-try-restaurant. There are better ones in Bangalore which are much easier to access and serve much better food. So if you are a little adventurous like Mr. B to check out new places raved by his friends, then you have no other go but to follow him!

**** For all those who donot know who Mr. B is - Its my Better Half!

Fists of Fury

Why do people fight? Why do people get angry? How does cone loses his/her cool? Is there anybody who never fights?

Well, my reason for writing this blog is (oh-you-guessed-it-right!) FIGHT!
Of late I have been throwing tantrums like crazy. Getting angry ever so often. But people who know me think(not including close family - including parents, husband, sister) I would never fight with anybody. 'Dikhaave par mat jaaao, apni akal lagaaao'.

People on whom we get angry is of course people with whom you have been staying with , spending most of your time with or could be someone you are very close to. Now, I am kind of a person who expresses happiness/anger with only the above mentioned category of people. I am very very complacent with people who fall out of this bracket.

So obviously the wrath always falls on Mr. B (my better half!) because he is the one who falls in all the three major categories - I am staying with him, very close to him, spend most of my time with him. Sometimes I feel so sorry for him to be going through all this - bearing my silly tantrums. I have read in various articles quoting that the best way to overcome anger/frustration is to vent it out. So thats what I do! But I do feel guilty about doing so but then I need to vent it out to feel normal again.

Mind is so complicated. Complicated than anybody or anything!

Some common reasons why I get angry (lets see if you match any of these with yours?) -
  • I am telling you something so listen to it howmuchever busy you are.
  • Ask me how was my day at work without fail everyday.
  • If I dont want to cook, please offer to take me out.
  • Dont dump all the good clothes in the washing machine, they might lose their texture.
  • Please allow me to iron my cotton dresses - I dont like to wear crumpled clothes
  • Let me iron your cotton shirts too
  • Leave the kitchen to me
  • Leave grocery shopping to me

Mr B is such a darling that he never ever lets me do anything which he can do himself, but still it pisses me off.

I dont want to get angry but sometimes cannot control my emotions at all.

More updates later.

Lemon Coriander Soup

Ever came across a soup named 'Lemon Coriander'?

We didnt know a soup with this name existed until we bumped into our friend one fine day and decided to hog food outside. The soup section had this soup. After a lot of contemplating as to who would dare to try the soup, my husband tried this one. Both of us loved it to the core. The tangy flavor of lemon, the fresh tatse of coriander leaves, its out of the world. I know I know its too much of an exaggeration but we love it.

Whenever we eat out, our eyes start looking for this particular one. Though we havent come across a lot of restaurants offering this soup on their menu.

Its very simple to make and the taste is quite simple too.

To make this soup, you would need a lot of lemon grass (it looks like green flat sticks).
Veggies of your choice (ranging from mushroom, carrots, cauliflower, beans, cabbage).
Chopped corainder leaves and lemon too- thats about it. The rest of the ingredients you would easily find in your pantry!

Boil a lot of lemon grass with slit green chillies in water.
Fry the chopped veggies in oil with a little pepper and salt. Strain the boiled water and add it to the sauted veggies. Squeeze one medium sized lemon.
Add coriander leaves - a lot. Let the soup boil for sometime.

Garnish with sliced lemon and coriander leaves.

You cannot go wrong with this one.

Twist To Daliya

What do you call something which is fun as well as nutritious! Well, I would just call it Fun Food.

Now yesterday was a long evening for me. I reached home early after work. Mr. B (Better Half) had to take a call from office so he called me up to tell me he would be late. So I decided to churn something out for the dinner!

Being the almost-last-day of the week, I had no vegetables at my disposal and I had no will to step out. I had bought a lot of fruits though while coming back from work.

Coming straight to the recipe, cant wait much longer without revealing!

Boil 3 cups of water. Add 1 cup daliya with a pinch of salt. Let it cook for sometime. Remember not to put the lid on. It would definetly spill (which it did in my case!!). Turn off the flame after say 5-10 minutes or when you think the Daliya is all cooked.

Make custard. Just follow the instructions on the pack.

Add daliya to the custard. Cool it. Add chopped fruits (banana, grapes, pineapple, apple - you name it!).

Comes out yummy. Very healthy. No oil. No fuss recipe.

I dont intend to start a food blog but still would be posting some quick-to-make recipes and fun food once in a while.

Happy Cooking!

Bored to Death

Forget something interesting happening at work place, there is nothing happening at all. Many people would quite agree with me that there comes a day, a week, when there is literally no work, no work at all. I am going through such a phase. For the last 1 week, I am being paid for browsing!!

My first day of no-work-day started on the new year. I dont like taking too much pressure on myself at work place. I like working at my own pace keeping in mind my deadlines. But the 1st was no-work-day in the true sense. I was quite happy to be browsing all day long, catching up with my old friends, sending everyone happy-new-year-email!

But it continued for the second day too. Lost a little interest in browsing. Still continuing.

Pongal is off for us. Hoping work starts pouring in (I am not asking for loads of work though!) and I keep myself busy after a really really low phase at work place!

Today is a friday and I am looking forward to the coming weekend.

Daliya - The Indian Porridge

Came across Daliya over lunch at my workplace.

The taste was very bland, more or like the sooji upma (the oh-so-common upma) without any tadka; if cooked with salt and boiled with water.

I am now going to lay my hands on Daliya and try some of the recipes that I came across.

Daliya needs a little spicing up. The spicing need not be done with the spices easily available in the indian kitchens. A little sugar, a little salt would do the magic.

A sweetdish made of daliya is very simple. Boil daliya with some sugar, pinch of salt and water. Milk can be added too. Pressure cook for a while.

Upma made with daliya is very healthy too. Roast the daliya. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies in hot oil. Add as many chopped vegetables as you want, fry it for sometime. Add daliya. Add thrice as much as water and let it boil. Add salt as per taste.

Well I am going to try out these recipes at the earliest to give my Mr B a healthy meal time snack which I am sure he is going to love.

Bangalore to Cochin

Last week was pretty good. Were in Kerala during the Chritsmas week.

We started not-so-early at around 6 am (blame it on the weather)on a satuday. Had a quick shower and off we went. Weather was lovely, started the music as soon as my Better-Half (will address him as Mr B) started the engine.

I always think why do we feel so hungry when we are on a vacation? Its the same with Mr B too. We end up eating close to almost double the food we eat on an average week day. I guess it is the vacation effect! Drove for just an hour, started feeling very hungry. Stopped by at Reliance and had a good breakfast. Drove for another 2 hours or so, started feeling hungry again.

After pacifying our tummies throughout the journey, finally reached Palakkad at around 5pm. The place is a crowded one. Had a tough time finding our way to the hotel considering the fact that people speak only and only in Malyalam there! Checked into a hotel called Indraprastha. Decent one. Started feeling the pangs again. Felt a little ashamed for feeling hungry so often but cajoled ourselves saying the drive was hectic, roads bumpy, weather humid.

Settled ourselves in a not-so-cosy restaurant (totally vegetarian, though Mr B insisted I try the Kerala fish). Had a heavy dinner and headed back to our room.

Planned to start early the next day to Cochin. So we hit the sacks pretty soon (were fast asleep by 10).

Mr B as he always does when we are on a vacation, got up very early and bombed the news that we forgot to get a tooth paste! Called up the house-keeping department only to find out it was too early for them! Somehow managed to keep the brush inside our mouth - weird feeling though. Had a quick fight as to who was actually responsible for not putting the paste inside the bag. Peace after sometime.

Breakfast at the not-so-cosy restaurant. Had 'Puttu' - the very famous kerala breakfast. Was quite heavy than the breakfasts we usually take. Headed south-west towards Cochin.

Roads were pretty decent. Coconut and banana trees everywhere. Finally reached our destination after making a bunch of calls to the hotel, the Star Lagoon. The hotel was a 13- storeyed apartment converted into a hotel.
Hunger pangs start again. Headed straight to the restaurant!

When I stop by and read what I have written - I realize I have missed on the road condition, the drive as a whole, best time to start but only about our hunger pangs troubling us off and on. Well, a happy tummy is a happy soul! And if Mr B is kind enough he would share the actual drive to Cochin!

My First Blog

My first blog.

I cannot believe I am finally writing a blog all by myself. Great feeling to let your thoughts take shape of words.
